Kuimeaux’s World is a film by four members of the Kuimeaux Project: Ed Eaves (producer, director and editor), Benny Turner (producer, writer and director), Sonny Gault (producer) and Chris Maxwell (original score). It’s a documentary about Kuimeaux and his art featuring interviews with him shot in 2015, plus interviews shot in 2023 (one year after his death) with some of his old friends, his sister Linda McInturff, artists Kevin Kresse and Katherine Strause, artist and curator Brad Cushman, and photographer Jacob Slaton.
This is a passion project for us, part of our larger effort to preserve Kuimeaux’s legacy, tell his story, and get his art out into the world. We plan to submit the documentary to film festivals and pursue opportunities to screen it in other venues and online film platforms.
